A second glance reveals hidden images.
These drawings which are executed in an “illusionistic style” were commissioned and printed 45 years ago by a poster company in Sausalito, CA. The commission included some copies to the artist, Robert Regis Dvořák. He is selling the copies that he has left, signed. When these are gone, there will be no more.
This edition of eight animals are most unusual in that while the main image is that of a single animal, each drawing includes scores of other subordinate images incorporated within the framework of the primary image: such as other animals, different views of the same animal, people, faces, cities, etc. Many of these subordinate images are very subtle. Some will be noticed immediately, while others may not appear until one has looked at the drawing over many months. If you find something in the drawing, you can be sure that the artist intended for it to be there.
